February 2010 Convictions Magazine

Dear Friends,

Please see here an article on the Third Order Secular of St. Francis published in the February 2010 issue of Convictions Magazine, which is the SSPX Canadian District's "The Angelus Magazine", so to speak. 

I do want to bring an error to your attention.  The substance of the article was not composed by me.  It was authored by someone who chooses to remain anonymous.  Br. Joseph and I simply took the original article and modified it.  I also neglected to include the reference sources for the article, which should read:

"All quotes and most of the information are taken from 'Handbook of the Third Order Secular of St. Francis of Assisi' by Basil Gummermann, O.F.M. Cap. published in 1947 by St. Anthony’s Guild (Patterson, NJ). Some information is also taken from 'Rule and Constitutions of the Franciscan Third Order' American edition authorized translation by the Executive Board of the Federated Provinces of the Third Order of St. Francis in North America published in 1959 by Franciscan Herald Press (Chicago, IL) and from 'The Horn of the Unicorn' by David Allen White published in 2006 by Angelus Press (Kansas City, MI)."

I am sorry for any confusion this has caused.
